Plaster-like display stones made with sponge

La Doll Paste
melamine sponge
sealer coating [Matte]
clear craft rod spoon & spatula (palette knife can be used.)
shells, lame, etc. prepared to your choice
brush

Add something to La Doll Paste and arrange to your taste!

  1. 1.

    Prepare a melamine sponge.

  2. 2.

    Split in half by hand.

  3. 3.

    Tear the other flat side with your fingers as well.

  4. 4.

    Paint with a spatula.

  5. 5.

    Paint a thin coat over the entire top surface.

  6. 6.

    Paint the top half of the sides.

  7. 7.

    Let it dry half a day.

  8. 8.

    Paint unpainted areas.

  9. 9.

    Paint unpainted half of the sides.

  10. 10.

    Dry another half day.

  11. 11.

    Apply two coats of paint overall.

  12. 12.

    Shells, glitter, etc. should be added at this time.

  13. 13.

    Press down lightly on the shell with a spatula to fix it in place and dry.

  14. 14.

    After dry, apply sealer (matte) all over with a brush and allow to dry.

  15. 15.

    Lightweight display stones are created.
